In my county, we have a very competitive race for County Judge. Our democratic candidates have strong ties to the community and experience with local courts, including County courts. Their opponents have far less local courtroom experience and strong conflicts of interest with local law enforcement.
It’s so important that local judges are perceived as unbiased and fair to all members of the community; in rural areas like mine a great deal of what they adjudicate is family law, not federal law or negotiating with insurance companies in tort cases.
I urge each and every one of you to get out the vote this this year. Your local candidates need to know that the Blue Wave doesn’t stop during the non-federal election years,
We have enough conservative judges in my opinion.
